Just Like That, I am Back

If I said I was back, would you believe me? Blogging is complicated, and there are so many "get rich quick" blogging schemes that make it look like you are a lost cause if you are not currently earning money blogging. And why are you even blogging if you don't have multiple streams of income and entertainment. If you don't have a brand? I do have this website, but I do not have Instagram, Twitter, TikTok (you don't want to see me dance), or whatever is next.  Heck, I haven't even updated this since before the pandemic. So why am I here, writing about being back and then, probably ghosting for another two years? Life has been rough. It's been painful and overwhelming. I am so thankful for you my readers, or what is left of you. I am so thankful you are reading this post. I am so thankful that you are still committed to making the world a more exciting and more sustainable place.  Keep up-cycling my friends, and you never know, I might be back again with an...

Sell Your House on Facebook

Once again I find myself selling a home in Lakewood, Ohio in a really DOWN economy.

This time I am embracing Social Media and trying to sell the home via Facebook. Will it work, or will I end up with a realtor in a month. The world will just have to wait and see.

Step one: I started a Facebook page for my house. Heck it might as well be a person it has a personality:

Friend My House!
I figured if you are going to get the word out about the house you might as well make it big. So please friend my house. It wants so much just to be a popular house, with friends.

I was thinking about giving her a twitter page, but you know what I barely use twitter myself so that probably won't work.

I will probably also list the house on Craigslist, but that is for another day. Until then, friend my house, give me some crazy creative suggestions, and let me know what you think.

My mom recently posted the news of their relocation on Facebook. Not only did it encourage several people to come look at the house, it also helped advertise the garage sale to sell our stuff!

Our garage full of junk was gone in 2 hours and our house, well we had an offer before it was even listed. There was a full price offer in less than 2 days of listing. Now we're praying all inspections go well, and if so, closing in a month!

If you ask me, social media works.
