Just Like That, I am Back

 If I said I was back, would you believe me? Blogging is complicated, and there are so many "get rich quick" blogging schemes that make it look like you are a lost cause if you are not currently earning money blogging. And why are you even blogging if you don't have multiple streams of income and entertainment. If you don't have a brand? I do have this website, but I do not have Instagram, Twitter, TikTok (you don't want to see me dance), or whatever is next.  Heck, I haven't even updated this since before the pandemic. So why am I here, writing about being back and then, probably ghosting for another two years? Life has been rough. It's been painful and overwhelming. I am so thankful for you my readers, or what is left of you. I am so thankful you are reading this post. I am so thankful that you are still committed to making the world a more exciting and more sustainable place.  Keep up-cycling my friends, and you never know, I might be back again with an...

I'm Jill from Envirocraftiness, which links my two loves, crafting and the environment.

I started my blog in April of this year when I graduated from university. It has been great to keep me sane while searching for a job, and I've met so many wonderful people that really keep my morale up. 
I've been crafting ever since I was really little. It used to drive my mom crazy because I would have to save every toilet paper roll and styrofoam meat tray because they're great for crafting. My sister and I used to sew a lot of our own Barbie clothes and make furnishings for their house too!
Every week on my blog I have a feature called What the Heck Wednesday. It's my very own version of stashbusting. 
Each week I pull something out of my stash that I may or may not have ideas of what to do with it, and then I ask my readers for suggestions of what to do with the item. The other great thing about WTHW? My readers get entered to win a prize each month!
My all time favorite WHTW project? 

This Zen Garden created from a tray (that is, until I finish my current project using a metal pencil case):




Other projects include headboard boxes out of cardboard, fabric and lots of hot glue!

Hello lovely T-shirt Diary followers!  The Pink Bat Girl is here to rescue you from plain old scrap wood and boredom today with a fun Memorial Day upcycled project!  My block wood is courtesy of an old toddler bed that all of my kids used from Ikea.  The bed has been given away, however, we still had the old wood that went under the mattress.  I thought it would make some really great wood blocks! I took this old wood and my hubby's handy dandy saw and cut them into my desired lengths!.. I love power tools!  So if you would like to make some of these fun decorations here is what you need!
