Just Like That, I am Back

 If I said I was back, would you believe me? Blogging is complicated, and there are so many "get rich quick" blogging schemes that make it look like you are a lost cause if you are not currently earning money blogging. And why are you even blogging if you don't have multiple streams of income and entertainment. If you don't have a brand? I do have this website, but I do not have Instagram, Twitter, TikTok (you don't want to see me dance), or whatever is next.  Heck, I haven't even updated this since before the pandemic. So why am I here, writing about being back and then, probably ghosting for another two years? Life has been rough. It's been painful and overwhelming. I am so thankful for you my readers, or what is left of you. I am so thankful you are reading this post. I am so thankful that you are still committed to making the world a more exciting and more sustainable place.  Keep up-cycling my friends, and you never know, I might be back again with an...

Does Your Husband Read Your Blog?

I have been wondering if your significant other reads your blog.

Being a crafting blog it's not like I reveal anything scandalous about my family (there is nothing scandalous but lets just pretend). I do however try to be honest about things like say my baking failures

They were supposed to be drop cookies


and my crafting supply addictions.



So the answer to my own question is NO? Frankly my husband could care less about the world of crafting. How about yours?

Bwahhahahaha! Your drop cookies look like the sidewalk in front of a 7-11! I love them! Did they at least taste good? Hilarious, Robin!

And same here - my husband read my blog for all of a week - then lost interest. I rapidly learned not to care. Hey, if I can tune him out when he's raving about some new gearshift boot he just discovered for his restoration project, he is entitled to tune me out when I tell him my latest exciting discovery about hot glue.

So funny! My hubby NEVER reads my blog unless I hold him down, tie him up and read it to him! Glad to hear that I am not alone!

I think he would be horrified at how much time I spend blogging, lol.

So nope he doesn't care either, he just keeps wondering when I am going to start making money from blogging, that's kinda stressful, lol.

The Hubs never glances at my blog unless there is a photo of him doing something manly. He has to "approve" all photos of him on the blog (so I don't always tell him when I am posting a photo) Other than that, he can't even operate my computer without crashing it somehow!

We were just talking about this last night- my husband was telling me I was weird to take pictures of the food I cook. I told him it wasn't and that people like to read it, but he has never read my blog. I just don't think they get it!

My hubby is super awesome wonderful and DOES indeed read my blog. Whenever I post something up, he'll be found reading it in bed. He even loves to talk "bloggy" with me and gets happy when I get nice comments or fetured! He'll even help me when I need him to! LOL! He's great :)

Hello lovely T-shirt Diary followers!  The Pink Bat Girl is here to rescue you from plain old scrap wood and boredom today with a fun Memorial Day upcycled project!  My block wood is courtesy of an old toddler bed that all of my kids used from Ikea.  The bed has been given away, however, we still had the old wood that went under the mattress.  I thought it would make some really great wood blocks!
